With their very first full-length album 'Origin', four-piece Australian band Harlott confidently step up to the plate and introduce themselves to the metal scene. Formed not so long ago, in 2006, they've released two official EPs prior to this that have allowed them to grow and produce a fine full length debut. 'Origin' by Harlott 'Origin' consists of twelve groovy, aggressive and high speed thrash metal tracks . It's quite long for the first album, but it flows very fast while listening to it – certainly not an album that lends you to clockwatching by any means! 'Origin' is remarkable quality, especially the vocals. Vocalist Andrew Hudson changes from melodic to fast shouting, expanding it with backing vocals and chorus, making the songs catchy and easy to remember. The first track and also the title track is one of the strongest on the album.
