Therapy? to enter NI 'Hall Of Fame'

Therapy? will mark the 20th anniversary of the release of their iconic 'Troublegum' album by playing it in its entirety at a special gig in Belfast this November. The performance will take place at the annual Northern Ireland Music Prize ceremony in the city's Mandela Hall on Saturday November 15. The performance will take place at the annual Northern Ireland Music Prize ceremony in the city's Mandela Hall on Saturday November 15. During the ceremony, Therapy? – who are also marking their 25th anniversary this year, having formed in the County Antrim town of Larne in 1989 – will also be inducted into Belfast's Hall Of Fame, when they are presented with the 'Oh Yeah Award'.  Previous 'inductees' include the DJ/punk promoter Terri Hooley, the guitarist Henry McCullough, The Undertones, Stiff Little Fingers and the late Gary Moore, who was awarded the honour posthumously in 2012. Reacting to the announcement, a statement issued on behalf of Therapy? stated:  "It's a great honour to accept this award. Northern Ireland made us the people that we are today and growing up in its musical landscape informed our lives in many different ways. We're very grateful and very proud".
