KAMCHATKA set to release new album 'The Search Goes On' in February

Blues rock, hard rock, stoner rock? It's just music to Kamchtaka… If Robin Trower were to cosy up to Warren Haynes and bust out some Cream/Zeppelin inspired heavy blues whilst Jimi Hendrix looked on admiringly, then you'll have a good idea what Sweden's Kamchatka sound like… The band have quietly been building a formidable reputation across EuropeBlues rock, hard rock, stoner rock? It's just music to Kamchtaka… If Robin Trower were to cosy up to Warren Haynes and bust out some Cream/Zeppelin inspired heavy blues whilst Jimi Hendrix looked on admiringly, then you'll have a good idea what Sweden's Kamchatka sound like… The band have quietly been building a formidable reputation across Europe and the U.S. where they've toured opening for the mighty Clutch (whose drummer Jean-Paul Gaster has featured on previous Kamchatka albums and formed in King Hobo with various Kamchatka members) Once again recorded in their own Shrimpmonkey studios (located in Thomas"Juneor"Andersson's and Tobias Strandvik's hometown Varberg, Sweden), 'The Search Goes On' is another boots and braces, soulful work out. Produced by ex-Opeth man Per Widberg (Candlemass, King Hobo, Spiritual Beggars etc), who also lends his bass playing skills to the band, the album ably demonstrates the power and passion that drives Kamchatka. The album was mixed by Johan Örnborg (Soilwork, Orphaned Land, Amon Amarth etc…) and mastered by Jens Bogren (Katatonia, Opeth, Dream Theater's James LaBrie etc…). UK tour dates to follow… KAMCHATKA; Thomas 'Juneor' Andersson (guitar and vocals) Per Wiberg (bass and vocals) Tobias Strandvik (drums) Links: http://kamchatka.se/ https://twitter.com/KamchatkaSWE https://www.facebook.com/Kamchatkaofficial
