Nottingham based Punk Rock band Trioxin Cherry released their debut album Let's Take Off and Nuke the Site From Space via STP Records on 18th April 2014. The album opens with a 16 second spoken introduction to the song Baka Manko, both introduction and song are in Japanese. I don't speak a word of Japanese but it sounded fluent. I looked up the meaning of Baka Manko and the closest definition is 'Stupid Cunt' a great song and it's taught me something new. How to swear in Japanese! Rebecca has an aggressive edge to her powerful vocals, which suits the punk genre although I thought the music in this song had a bit of a Red Hot Chilli Peppers flavour. Fly Bill Murray a great song, very aggressive vocals and a good instrumental ending. The next couple are a little samey. Psycho Killer with a fast drum beat and sung with belligerence. Good Day to Die a similar start to Psycho Killer with bullet drumming and some interesting guitar effects.
