STIFF LITTLE FINGERS new album "No Going Back" out on 11th August


Punk rock legends Stiff Little Fingers are set to tour England in August 2014. The tour is to coincide with the brand new studio album "No Going Back" – due out on August 11th 2014. From the album opener "Liars Club" through the ska vibe of "Don't Mind Me", through to the thumping bass of "Full Steam Backwards", the album is laced with driving rhythms overlaid with the instantly recognizable vocals and lyrics of Jake Burns. The album is released on the group's own imprint 'Rigid Digits' with global marketing and distribution by Mondo Recordings/INgrooves Stiff Little Fingers were formed in 1977 in Belfast, Ireland.  Along with the likes of the Clash, Sex Pistols, The Jam, Buzzcocks, Undertones, Sham 69, Stranglers, et al – Stiff Little Fingers were at the forefront of the punk movement. They wrote initially about their own lives, growing up at the height of The Troubles in Northern Ireland, in songs like "Suspect Device" and "Wasted Life".
