Ever listen to something and wonder why/how the vocals ruin a perfectly good entourage of heavy instruments? I do, I feel a little cringe worthy. In fact I have no words to describe how the vocals are ruining a perfect harmony of powerful rhythmic riffs, heavy but gentle drums, traditional guitar solos and solid keyboard work. I just can't hack the vocals; it's like listening to my Dad attempting to sing in the shower (sorry Crow!). Am I missing something? Or maybe I am being a bit harsh? Don't think so, I listened to this album once and I will never listen to it again unless it is pure instrumental. Even the addition of a female vocalist on the track called 'Paradise Eternally' did not persuade my ears to open up. I can only sum this up as 'meh'. If the vocals [...]
