Admittedly, as someone who has heard only a few of Crowbar's previous albums, it appears that the band doesn't seem to have radically changed very much over the years. But hey, when you've been around for as long as they have, doing it well and have a solid fan base who know what they like, then as the saying goes… "if it ain't broke – don't fix it". The opening track "Walk With Knowledge Wisely" really sets the pace for the rest of the album. Windstein and fellow guitarist, Matt Brunson, dominate the mix with their chunky, down-tuned guitar riffs and both execute strong leads.
