After not one but two mammoth tours to support the aforesaid album – their first for Napalm Records – the band are currently back home in their native County Down, from where bassist Mickey Waters revealed that the band weren't being idle, describing the songs that they're working on as "seriously heavy blues". Waters also revealed that guitarist Paul Mahon has, if somewhat involuntarily, adopted a new playing style. "[He] has lost all his guitar slides and is now into breaking a bottle of Budweiser – once finished of course – to use to kick out some new riffs… Smokin'!". PlanetMosh understands that when The Answer eventually do return to the studio, most likely towards the end of this year, the album once again will be produced by Toby Jepson. Meanwhile, the band have taken their love of football to the next logical level, by releasing a special Samba version of their single, 'Spectacular', in the run up to the World Cup 2014 in Brazil.
