Organised by David Tonge (Big D) and his family and friends. Walking towards the venue at street level it wasn't immediately recognisable as The Maze as a sign for Forest Tavern is the most obvious sign. The Maze is a small venue behind the tavern and there's actually a big Maze sign over the door, which you can easily see – from across the road. With a bar area in the pub and a bar in the venue it was fairly easy to get served and there was even a special 3.9% NLC ale for sale. (I didn't try it so comments welcome!) A cake stall (and very delicious they were too) and a tombola/raffle were also taking place in the bar area.
