A statement from the band about the new single : "Broken Jaws is what we (Chasing Dragons) are all about. It was the very first song we wrote for Checkmate, and it's the closing song for the record. We chose it as our single because it's written about everything we believe in; loyalty, trust in your friends, strength in numbers, empowerment and above all, standing up for yourself. It's personal to a lot of us and we hope that our fans can hear that and connect with it too.
