Lillyé a five piece hard rock band from Sydney, Australia released their self titled EP in Summer 2014. Fronted by Virginia Lillyé who, after a long stint performing in stage productions and rock bands in Germany, returned to Australia in 2008 and appeared on The Voice. Virginia then formed the band Lillyé bringing on board musicians with a Lillyé Lillyé a five piece hard rock band from Sydney, Australia released their self titled EP in Summer 2014. On first listen I was reminded of In This Moment and Pretty Reckless both bands with powerful female singers and a hard rocking edge with energetic screaming riffs. I also picked up some similarities to The Prodigy, say a bit of Firestarter in Under and Breathe in Who I'm Meant to Be. Tttalk with it's stacatto drumming start was like Paramore meets Alanis Morrisette I'm thinking Misery Business meets You Oughta Know. A good debut from the Australian five-piece and hailing from the home of bands like AC/DC and Rose Tattoo I wouldn't expect anything else.
