The Digby Pearson beer recognises the founder and owner of independent record label Earache Records, which released some of the very first extreme metal recordings and has remained a permanent fixture in Nottingham since its formation over 25 years ago. The 4.2% ale is the latest exclusive beer in Castle Rock's Nottinghamian range, brewed to honour Nottingham's very own heroes and heroines, with boxing legend Carl Froch next in line for the honours later this year. Rockers and metalheads from near and far are invited to come and celebrate at the party of the summer, where there will be live performances from EVIL:DETH (featuring members of LAWNMOWER DETH with guest vocalist DR SHOCKER HELL), SKELETRON, SAVAGE MESSIAH, and DICK VENOM & THE TERRORTONES.
